HOUSING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:
Currently Seeking Stakeholder Members! For information about serving on the committee please contact the chair at the email address referenced above. Message From The Chair: As I stated during my campaign, a major goal of the Housing & Community Development Committee will be to advocate among city lawmakers for a balance between providing ample affordable housing without permitting overcrowding and depreciating home values for single-family homeowners in our historic community. These issues are currently being researched while simultaneously establishing working relationships with key city & state lawmakers and their staffs. A publication on California's Landlord Tenant Laws, published by the State of California, has already been obtained and is being ordered in quantities of 50 at a time (to keep costs down) and should be available within 30 - 45 days. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE:
LAND USE: A Major Project for our committee is participating in the planning and implementation of the upcoming ArroyoFest! Watch for our newsletter coming in late April for more news about this major community event.
